HYBRID WARRIOR

16 WEEK PROGRAM

This is a 12-Week Hybrid Fitness Training Plan with a focus on strength building. You can absolutely build muscle while stacking your running miles, it all comes down to how you train. This fitness program lays out the plan to help you achieve the best of both worlds.

This program is great for anyone that is looking to effectively balance their strength and endurance training.  Each week will consist of 6-days of training (some days with 2-workouts a day), with one rest day.

The workout scheduling of HYBRID WARRIOR (Strength Focus) is fully optimized for gaining lean muscle mass, achieving fat loss, and balancing gym and running sessions, all while ensuing just the right amount of recovery, and with no wasted time!

Bodyweight warrior

8 WEEK PROGRAM

The "Bodyweight Warrior" fitness program is 8-weeks of day-to-day (5x days each week of workouts, 2x days of rest) complete fitness exercise routines that require no equipment and no gym. It is a complete, total-body transformation program designed to maximize you physical fitness results.

This program focuses on the utilization of bodyweight only workouts, so that they can be performed by ANYONE, ANYWHERE, and at ANYTIME!

Embrace the ruck

8 WEEK PROGRAM

This 8-week rucking training program will help you achieve the completion of a 12-mile ruck march in under 2 hours and 45 minutes (or even faster for you high-speeds out there). This is not just for Soldiers, it is for ANYONE who is looking to increase their rucking/backpacking abilities and overall cardiovascular/muscular endurance. This plan includes not only the fitness programming, but also rucking tips, motivational quotes and images, sustainment advice, warm-ups/cool-downs, recovery and full bodyweight strength workouts. This is the most comprehensive rucking program available.

The training program's workouts are specifically designed to target the specific muscle groups and energy systems required to increase endurance and enhance your ability to move under load.

NO EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED. All you need is your ruck and some motivation (and more than likely, some discipline). With focus on variance of training and strategically placed workouts throughout the weeks, you'll see absolute progression in your rucking abilities!

RANGER SCHOOL PREP

13 WEEK PROGRAM

This is a 13-week Ranger School physical training program specifically designed to prepare you for the demands of the most difficult training the US ARMY has to offer.

This program is great for anyone that is looking to significantly increase their endurance, strength, core, ruck-march ability, and overall cardiovascular abilities.

Most weeks will consist of a 6-days of training, with one rest day. Many workouts will be a mix between a run/ruck and strength training. You can break these workouts into 2 during the day, however, the intent is to be able to complete the entire workout in go, if possible and time allows. Overall, the workload is designed to maximize gains for specific physical attributes that will be tested during school, while avoiding overtraining.

8 WEEK PROGRAM

This 8-week AFT training program has been specially designed to increase the military athlete's overall score on the Official (since 23 March 2022) Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT).

The training program's workouts are specifically designed to target the specific muscle groups and energy systems required to successfully conduct each event of the test, and crush them.

This program is completely recyclable, meaning it can be followed more than once for continuous progression, if needed. You WILL NOT find a more complete and comprehensive fitness program to prepare for the AFT.

The 6-Week "Run Faster" training program is a fully comprehensive running plan to dramatically improve your running speed.

This program delivers daily fitness programming, including carefully selected running workouts that are scheduled to maximize progression while minimizing risk of overtraining. This plan is also coupled with enhancive strength training sessions geared towards strengthening key muscles required for running speed, to maintain previously acquired muscle mass, and to effectively minimize risk of injury.

Areas of focus include overall strength, endurance, and VO2 MAX (cardio).

This day-by-day military fitness program provides fully-guided workouts strategically staggered in order to increase performance while maintaining proper recovery.

This is a 12-week military readiness physical training program that focuses on preparing you for the physical requirements required in order to successfully navigate the challenges of basic military and service academy training. 16 WEEK PROGRAM

This 12-week Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) fitness program is the "go-to" selection train-up for future Green Berets. "Get Selected" is constructed to contain exactly what you need to be physically prepared for SFAS, without all the "fluff" you might find in other fitness plans.

This fitness program is also appropriate for other Special Operations (SOF) selection courses such as the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program (RASP), the Psychological Operations Assessment and Selection (POAS), and the Civil Affairs Assessment and Selection (CAAS).

Each week will consist of a 6-days of training (some days are long, and you may need to break up the workouts throughout the day), with one rest day. This program is designed to maximize your ability to carry heavy-loads over long distances (ruck marching and equipment carries), improve your overall endurance, and increase full-body muscular strength.

MY METHODOLOGY

My training methodology is about more than just aesthetics, it’s about capability, resilience, and real-world performance. Inspired by military fitness but designed for anyone willing to earn it, my approach fuses strength, endurance, and mental toughness. This is hybrid training with a tactical edge: you’ll lift heavy, move fast, go far, and build a body—and mindset—that can handle anything.

Everything inside the app is structured around grit, not gimmicks. Whether you’re rucking hills, grinding through a bodyweight circuit, running the last mile, or pushing max effort in the gym, you’re building functional strength and unfaltering stamina. You won’t need fancy equipment, or a perfect setup. You’ll only need discipline, consistency, and the will to show up. This isn’t just training to look good, it’s training to be capable, dependable, relentless, and most importantly, to Stay Gritty.

ABOUT ME

I founded Gritty Soldier Fitness in 2020 to bring experience-driven, professionally developed training to those chasing real military and hybrid athleticism. Since then, thousands have crushed their goals using GSF programs.

My background? Over 18 years of top-tier training and hands-on experience. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Nutrition Specialist, Physique Coach, and Behavioral Change Specialist. I’ve served a long career in the military with multiple combat deployments, serving alongside the US’s most elite, and completing some of the most physically demanding schools the Army has to offer.

I’m always looking for ways to test my physical and mental endurance, in fact I’m addicted to it. Some events I’ve done, the Best Ranger Competition (2019), the Bataan Death March (twice), the Kauai 50-miler, a 70.3 Ironman, both Summer and Winter Fan Dances in the UK, and more recently, IRONMAN Texas. I’m not finished.
I know what it means to stay resilient, work as a team, and never back down. My training philosophy is simple: embrace the suck, never quit, and earn what you keep. If you’re ready to put in the work, I’ll help you get where you want to go—because I know you can.
